Tomorrow would be the first day back at school after spring break for over half a million students across British Columbia.

The COVID-19 pandemic has meant that all in-class instruction has been cancelled indefinitely as we all heed that important advice from Chief Public Health Officer Dr Bonnie Henry to Stay home.

In this Community Conversations episode of Cambie Report, Tessa Vikander speaks with people directly affected by the school closures and the potential of online learning. First she talks with Christina Meyers, a parent to two school-aged children. Then she speaks to grade 12 students Elijah and Oren. These interviews were recorded last week on March 14 and 15.

For the duration of the crisis, we’re opening up our Patron Slack to all listeners and supporters. Go to leginbootmedia.ca to request an invite.

Wash your hands and stay home.
